Colour proofs for the upcoming book project, ‘Love Stories for Ghosts’ by Alex Latimer.

Nine ethereal short stories illustrated with nine of my pictures. Trawling the archive was a lengthy process with much debate and elimination. Thrown into the mix was a social media ‘manhunt’ for the mystery swimmer in the tidal pool. Both Alex and I really wanted to use the shot. Any second choice for the story wasn’t going to cut it. Over a period of two days, leads were given and followed via the Dalebrook Tidal Pool community page, with three swimmers coming forward to claim the title. Needless to say, this got a bit awkward. Fortunately, with more digging around, we found the true heroine in the water, and the picture was confirmed for publication. The manuscript will be heading to the printers in the coming weeks.
